Nancy and Lew’s basement remodel in Aurora, CO, aimed to create a multifunctional space for hosting, recreation, fitness, and guest accommodations. Elevation Basements collaborated closely with the homeowners to understand their vision, ensuring a seamless, cohesive design that extended the home’s style to the basement. The project emphasized detailed communication and quality craftsmanship from start to finish, resulting in a stunning, personalized space.
Nancy and Lew wanted to transform their large, unfinished basement into a versatile area for entertaining, playing games, working out, and hosting overnight guests. The project required strategic planning to navigate construction challenges, including access limitations for moving large materials into the home and working on the basement while the original home builder completed their outstanding punch list items on the house.
Elevation Basements worked hand-in-hand with Nancy and Lew, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the process. The project incorporated standout features like a custom wet bar with reclaimed wood sourced from a 100-year-old barn in Arkansas, a gym with a glass wall for an airy feel, and a spa-like bathroom. The result is a gorgeous basement that seamlessly connects to the home’s overall style.
“What a breath of fresh air this company and these gentlemen are! We moved back home to Colorado and purchased our dream home… But one thing was missing, a finished basement. After interviewing a few companies, these guys stood out leaps and bounds against the competition. Their communication was amazing and the process was very seamless from beginning to end.
I now can say that we have completed our dream home and have a wonderful basement space for our friends and family to gather around. Items we added were a movie theater, a spare bedroom, a full bar with two taps, a spa-like bathroom, and much more. The built-in shelving that they did was phenomenal! Words do not do it justice. We absolutely love it! Thanks guys!”
